"It was truly an amazing experience. The cooking class instructor was also our guide and driver, and the service was exceptional in every way. Many cooking class tours have fixed menus, but Chef Dat took us around the market, explaining the ingredients while asking what kind of dishes we wanted to make and what foods we disliked. You can enjoy the process of discussing and deciding the menu with the chef and fully immerse yourself in the tour from start to finish. We didn’t just talk about cooking — we learned so much from Chef Dat about culture, Vietnamese family life, and the structure of traditional houses. The tour lasts about 5–6 hours, but our whole family enjoyed every moment. We really appreciated getting a chance to see more of the Vietnamese culture by visiting the local market, a small shop producing coconut oil and a house of a local Family. We cooked in a spacious kitchen in Dat‘s beautiful garden, he was extremely helpful, guiding us through the process and sharing the tips that will definitely upgrade our cooking skills.
